Share our similarities, celebrate our differences.”
~M. Scott Peck
As a bilingual, first-generation Greek-American, I have personal experiences and insight into the challenges that one can face while navigating different cultural worlds. There can be conflicting values and expectations, a strong pull from family members, and guilt or shame associated with being different.
In addition to my own experiences, I have conducted psychotherapy with a diverse clientele, including individuals with various cultural backgrounds, financial circumstances, and identities. My overall aim is to provide culturally sensitive and competent services to each client. I find myself continuously reinvigorated as I learn nuances from each person’s story.
