“You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.” ~Eckhart Tolle
Everyone has anxiety. At manageable levels, anxiety can even be beneficial by driving us toward necessary action and productivity. When the worrying becomes persistent and seemingly unending though, we can feel exhausted and confused about how to turn things around. That’s where therapy can be helpful – to find relief and quiet one’s mind.
With several years of research experience in the Anxiety Disorders Research Laboratory at American University, as well as extensive practice in treating individuals with various anxiety disorders across many settings, I incorporate appropriate evidence-based methods to reduce distress and equip clients with tools to manage their rumination and self-doubts.
